The app also makes it simple to add extras to the rental, access the paperwork through their devices and track their loyalty benefits and rewards.

Avis is giving renters a big new reason to switch their loyalties – the chance to match their status earned elsewhere.
Under the Avis Status Match offer, Avis acknowledges the status you have earned with your existing car rental loyalty membership. Avis will match you to the equivalent tier of their own rewards programme from the moment you start renting with them.
Like all the big name rental companies, Avis has three loyalty tiers and these are used to correspond to your existing programme. Starting from the entry level, they are Avis Preferred, Preferred Plus and President’s Club.
All tiers offer priority service and valuable benefits, including upgrades and a free weekend voucher. If you’re eligible to the join the Preferred Plus tier, you can add another driver for free and you also get priority on vehicle availability. If you’re on the top tier of your current loyalty programme, you’ll qualify for President’s Club perks that include a guaranteed upgrade of your booked vehicle with every rental and a double upgrade at weekends where available.
Signing up is simple. All you need to do is join Avis Preferred for free before completing a quick online form and uploading proof of your current rewards programme status.
